Method of preparation chicken schnitzel:

The chicken breast is deboned and portioned as for slices (if you have deboned it is even better) The pieces are lightly beaten with a meat hammer. Place on a plate, salt, pepper and then sprinkle with paprika and grease with crushed garlic. Leave for half an hour.


Prepare:

-a plate with white flour, a bowl in which I beat eggs for 3 minutes with a spoonful of water and a plate with well-crushed cornflakes. I left them in a bag and beat lightly with a meat hammer until most of them crumbled (don't make powder :))

Heat oil in a pan. We take each piece, we give it well through the flour, then through the beaten egg and then through the cornflakes. Dip the pieces in hot oil and brown each piece nicely chicken schnitzel on both sides.

First, you need to beat the eggs, in which you can put a pinch of salt. The breast slices are given first through flour, then through beaten eggs and then through breadcrumbs, then put in hot oil to fry. Fry the snails for no more than 2 minutes on each side, then take them out of the pan and place them on a napkin, which will absorb the excess oil.

You can consume the snails thus prepared both hot, with a garnish, but also cold, in sandwiches.

Schnitzel and Sunday & # 8230 or if tomorrow is Sunday for sure it's schnitzel at lunch, that's how it was in my childhood, things haven't changed much now either! What have I changed ?! I "walked" a little to the recipe and I adapted it to a healthier version, without flour and without frying in oil!

How do we proceed?!
& # 8211 fillet the meat (chicken, turkey, pork, veal) into thin slices that we lightly tenderize with a meat hammer, lightly, without breaking them.
& # 8211 season each slice of meat with salt and pepper to taste
& # 8211 beat whole eggs with a pinch of salt, half a teaspoon of paprika or hot, to taste
& # 8211 instead of passing the meat through the flour I chose to use natural cornflakes, # without added sugar, from #sweeteria. Blend the flakes at low speed for a few seconds or crush them by hand for a more "rustic" version!
& # 8211 for a healthy version of schnitzel do not fry it in oil!

Each slice of meat passed through the egg and then through the cornflakes, reaches the tray, on baking paper & # 8230 put in the oven at 180 C for 40 minutes, depending on the thickness of the pieces of meat! After 20 minutes, turn the pieces of schnitzel on the other side! When the flakes turn golden and the time expires & # 8230 ready, good appetite!

Until the schnitzels rest in the oven, you also have time to prepare a side dish: whether it's a salad (I made a salad of spinach and cherry tomatoes!), Green beans, red beans, baked potatoes or whatever you like & # 8230 you can enjoy of a crunchy schnitzel, to the taste of the little ones and more!

Cornflake crispy strips

It's a big dilemma for me why most restaurants offer as a special menu for children schnitzel and cheese bread with french fries & # 8230 Anyway, I at least try a healthier option at home, namely baked snails in cornflake crust. They are super good, crunchy, perfect for the whole family and look better than at KFC :)

Ingredient (12 pcs):

  • 2 pieces of chicken breast
  • 100g sugar-free cornflakes
  • 1 lgt garlic powder
  • 1/2 lgt boia dulce
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 lg olive oil (for spraying)
  • 5 lg flour (oatmeal) *

We cut the chicken breast into relatively equal and thick strips about 2 cm, we beat the eggs. Separately, grind the cornflakes in a blender and mix them with the garlic powder, paprika and a little pepper.

We give each strip of meat through: 1. flour, 2. egg mixture, 3. cornflake topping. Place the pieces on a tray lined with baking paper, spray a little oil with a uniform spray over them.

Bake the snails for about 30-40 minutes in the preheated oven at 190C, with the ventilation on in the last 15 minutes, ochiometrically until they brown nicely.

We served them with sour cream and french fries at Airfryer, but of course they also go with baked potatoes :) Great appetite!

* Note: You can use a gluten-free flour, for people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. Use pepper as far as children are concerned, it is a strong and irritating gastric spice.

ENGLISH VERSION

I & # 8217ve always wondered why restaurant offer as children friendly menus french fries and fried chicken or fried cheese & # 8230 Anyway, I try to make a healthier version at home: oven baked cornflake crispy strips. They & # 8217re super delicious, crunchy and look even better than KFC :)

Ingredients (12 pcs):

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 100 g sugar-free corn flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for spraying)
  • 5 tbsp (oat) flour *

Cut the chicken into even 2 cm thick strips. Whisk the eggs, ground the corn flakes using a small chopper, then mix them with the garlic, paprika and a pinch of pepper.Dip every chicken strip into 1. flour, 2 egg mixture 3. cornflakes mix.

Place the strips on a tray lined with baking paper, spray them with a little oil. Then bake at 190 C for 30-40 min, with the ventilation on in the last 15 min. We served them with sour cream and Air-fried french fries, but baked potatoes also work :) Enjoy!

* Notes: Use gluten free flour for a 100% gluten-free version. Use very little pepper for children, it & # 8217s a powerful spice.
